Unfit for Print is developed and maintained by PPO.GG. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency and care.
Information We Collect
Anonymous Players
When you play Unfit for Print anonymously, we collect the following temporary information:
- Temporary session ID: A unique identifier for your current game session.
- Gameplay data: Your nickname, chat messages, and actions within the game.
All anonymous data is automatically deleted when your game lobby ends or expires.
Logged-In Users (Discord Login)
If you choose to log in using your Discord account, we store the following information:
- Username
- Email address
- Unique User ID (UUID)
- Date joined
- Session expiration timestamp
We do not access your Discord friend list, private messages, or Discord servers.
How We Use Your Information
The data we collect is used solely to provide and improve your gaming experience:
- Facilitate game sessions: To enable matchmaking and gameplay.
- Display nicknames and scores: To show player information during games.
- Assign player roles: Such as designating a “Judge” in the game.
- Support real-time functionality: To ensure smooth and interactive gameplay.
We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

Analytics
We do not currently use any analytics or tracking tools. You will not encounter a cookie banner, and you will not be tracked across the web.
Chat and Game Data
- Visibility: Game chats are visible only to players within the same lobby.
- Content filtering: Profanity is filtered using a strict keyword list.
- Deletion: Messages and in-game actions are removed once the game session ends.
- No long-term storage: We do not store chat logs or card plays beyond the active game session.
Data Security
We prioritize the security of your data. Information is stored and managed using an on-premises instance of Appwrite, a secure, open-source backend.
- Encryption: All communication is encrypted during transit.
- Role-restricted access: Access to data is limited based on user roles to ensure only authorized personnel can view it.
Your Privacy Rights
If you are covered under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and associated data (applicable to Discord login only).
- Right to correction/limitation: You can request corrections to your data or limitations on its processing.
